Ana and Calla
This series of photographs, shot on film, documents a dance instructor physically positioning and correcting an apprentice to exhibit proper technique. The teacher who stands behind the student uses her own body, including her feet, to support, encourage, and groom the child into the correct ballet position and body alignment. Together they are intertwined to become one form.
